School Uniform

We are very proud of our school uniform and it represents us as a team, therefore school uniform must be worn at all times.

  • Trousers /shorts – grey
  • Dress – red and white check or stripe
  • Skirt or pinafore dress – grey
  • Polo shirt or blouse – white or red
  • School sweatshirt/cardigan red   cardigan or jumper
  • Shoes (flat heeled and not open toed); trainers are not appropiate.

Long hair should be tied back – especially during important P.E. sessions.

We hold stocks of Book bags, PE bags, sweatshirts and cardigans, and in addition the following items are available to order from the school office:

 PE Kit

For hygiene reasons children must change for P.E. and games.  PE kits should be kept in school as PE may need to be re-arranged.

  • Black Shorts (Can be purchased from the school office)
  • Plain red or white t shirt or red t shirt with school logo (can be purchased from the school office)
  • Gym shoes / Plimsoles
  • Draw string bag (can be purchased from the school office)

Please label all clothes and bags clearly.

Jewellery in school

We discourage children from wearing jewellery in school. This is for reasons of safety. If your child has pierced ears only stud earrings NO HOOPED EARRINGS are acceptable and these must be removed on PE days.  Wrist watches may be worn and stored safely during PE lessons.

The Education Authority disclaims responsibility for injury caused by jewellery or loss of jewellery on the school premises. In practice this means that the parents would be legally liable for any damage or injury caused to their child or any other person through the wearing of jewellery. The school will be unable to take responsibility for any loss or damage to jewellery. Children are not permitted to engage in P.E. or sport while wearing jewellery. For health and safety reasons teachers are not permitted to remove jewellery from children, therefore if a child is wearing jewellery they must remove it themselves.  Failing this, the child will have to miss the lesson.  This policy reflects County advice to all schools.
